Sr Software Engineer

Overview

Lead and develop .NET/full‑stack web applications for utility network management.

Tasks

-Coordinate with the team for timely delivery of work products. Ensure the quality of work products by reviews. -Takes care of team members. Participates in higher level project planning and plans the tasks for their own team. Manages scrum meetings for own team. -Works with the project team to identify/clarify project goals, establish useful milestones, and develop a breakdown of the engineering tasks to be performed. These could include development, testing or support tasks. -Participates in technical/design reviews as required by the project framework -Participates in process improvements together with other stakeholders. -Works with the project team, with the product managers to establish achievable requirements. -As necessary, works independently or with quality assurance personnel to plan and execute product testing. -Participates on software development projects within the process framework established for the project. This framework will describe how requirements are developed and analyzed, how changes are made to requirements, how engineering work will be planned and tracked, how testing will be performed, and the criteria by which the performance of the project will be measured. -As necessary, performs or enables the ongoing support of software through the creation of design documentation or the performance of defect isolation and resolution. -Helps maintain and archive design documents, source code, and other work products necessary for the project. -As necessary, provides engineering work products and documentation to manufacturing and document control as necessary for successful product release.

-Strong problem solving -Typescript, HTML CSS -Demonstrated knowledge of various Software Development Lifecycles -Solid communication skills in English -Proficiency in frontend development (for full stack developers) -Object-oriented programming -Demonstrated collaboration skills to understand and work with a cross-disciplinary team and run stakeholder workshops -Strong proficiency in software architectures, software algorithms and software engineering principles -Master of Science in Computer Engineering or an equivalent degree with a good score -Extensive knowledge of React -Highly motivated and self-starting employee who can easily learn and adapt new domains -Extensive knowledge of C#/.NET -Expected work experience: 5+ years of experience -Application programming -Willingness to comply with coding standards and best practices as requested -Project planning competence -Proficiency in design, development and debugging tools, git workflows and Docker containers -Excellent verbal and written English communication skills -Scrum master type of competence -Visual Studio Code -Proficiency in team leading -Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies as required -Proficiency in backend development -Agile methodologies
