The Role
Overview
Process and manage payroll for various employee groups across Canada remotely.

Tasks
-Maintain strict compliance with payroll processes and audit trails. -Prepare, calculate, and process payroll, deductions, retro pay, adjustments, terminations, ROEs, and travel allowances. -Partner with HR on payroll-related matters. -Support year-end reconciliation and reporting. -Respond to employee payroll inquiries and escalate HR-related questions appropriately. -Prepare union reporting and payment requisitions. -Validate and maintain employee master data in ADP for hires, changes, terminations, and transfers. -Generate and distribute pay period and monthly reports. -Audit and balance payroll registers for assigned pay groups. -Capture time entries, create batches, and import data into ADP.

What You Bring
-Familiarity with ADP or other payroll systems - bonus points for Dayforce! -Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. If you speak French, bienvenu! -Strong knowledge of Employment Standards across Canada. -Solid Excel skills (intermediate to advanced). -Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and confidentiality champion. -High school diploma (PCP designation = bonus points!). -3 to 5+ years of payroll experience, ideally in a similar industry.
