Provides MEP cost estimating, contract admin and client liaison for projects.

Tasks
-Assess variation orders, prepare interim valuations, cost plans and budget studies -Carrying out cost analyses on mechanical and electrical services -Assessing interim payment applications and final accounts -Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance of project work -Preparing design brief documents for all mechanical and electrical services -Involve and drive performance standards through expert communication and effective use of the performance management process -Maintain and develop good relationships with clients, take every opportunity to uphold and increase the profile of our firm as a provider of professional, premium quality services to the construction industry -Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports -Measure and take off quantities for MEP work elements -Attend onsite and consultants’ meetings and liaise with clients on MEP matters -Allocate work to subcontractors -Valuing completed work and arranged payments -Compile contract documents for execution -Evaluating Contractor's design proposals and specifications -Prepare various main MEP contracts and nominated sub-contracts for contract formalization -Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to calculate project costs -Administer pre and post contract and consultancy work -Maintain awareness of different building contracts in current use -Providing general support & advice on various aspects of mechanical & electrical services

What You Bring
-Understand and adhere to the statutory building regulations -Good interpersonal and teamwork skills -Good communication and written skills in English -Applicants who hold a Degree in Building or Quantity Surveying, and are conversant with mechanical and electrical building services may also be considered. -4-5 years postgraduate experience in the design, supervision, project management, cost estimate, tendering, pre and post contract administration of either mechanical or electrical disciplines may be considered for Senior Position -Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering from a recognized University
