The Role

Oversee multi-state payroll processing and compliance for non-union segment.

Tasks

-Maintain payroll records and reports by directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data. -Ensure payroll is processed in accordance with company policies, federal/state/local laws, and applicable tax regulations. -Help evaluate systems and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy. -Manage relationships with third-party payroll vendors (e.g., ADP, Money Network, Wisely). -Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance. -Coordinate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate employee data (e.g., hires, terminations, promotions). -Supervise and support payroll staff, providing training and guidance as needed. -Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

What You Bring

-Experience with payroll software (UKG, VISTA, ADP). -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. -10+ years of payroll experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership or supervisory role. -CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation (required). -Experience with multi-state and/or union payroll. -Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. -Familiarity with timekeeping systems. -Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred not required. -Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll laws and regulations. -Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
