Tasks

-Deliver mentorship and collaborate with team members through pair programming and interactive sessions to upskill others. -Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to enterprise development standards by providing critical feedback and suggestions. -Work closely with global teams, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across platforms. -Lead project planning, including creating sequence diagrams, flowcharts, and task breakdowns for team execution. -Support, maintain, and own the platform including responding to alerts, outages, and other customer impacting events. -Provide Engineering assistance and troubleshooting to internal teams or external customers. -Develop, support, and maintain robust, scalable cloud solutions that handle enterprise data with a high degree of consistency and reliability. -Work as a member of a software team to generate working software within a sprint cycle. -Ensure our systems are reliable, scalable, and observable as we grow globally. -Actively support our incident response process and support on call as needed. -Keep abreast of new developments in the fields of engineering design, methods, and applications. -Furthers knowledge of profession through continued education and/or seeking or providing mentorship. -Create and update documentation for designs and software implementations.

What You Bring

-Capable of defining appropriate approaches and solutions. -Experience with major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or equivalent. -Proficiency in writing efficient SQL for databases such as PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL. -Deep knowledge of monitoring, observability, and logging tools such as Datadog or Grafana. -Well-developed problem analysis and problem-solving techniques. -Knowledge of SLOs, SLIs, and error budgeting. -Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform. -Demonstrated leadership abilities. -Team player who is self-motivated and has ability to work with minimal supervision. -Strong ability to debug and trouble shoot software and system issues. -Familiarity with Atlassian tools Agile development methodologies. -Experienced engineer with 5+ years of career experience, with Bachelor’s degree. 3+ years experience with Master’s degree. -Experience with Apache Kafka and MongoDB is a plus. -Or equivalent combination of education and experience writing commercialized software in a professional environment. -Familiarity with containerization and orchestration such as Docker or Kubernetes. -Understanding of Precision Agriculture technology and uses. -Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, and integration with external APIs. -Strong experience in .NET Core, C# and Entity Framework. -Proficiency in Git and familiarity with change tracking tools.
