Tasks

-Project Management: Project focused work in collaboration with various Finance teams to determine targeted data needs, assist in reporting design, and provide technical assistance -Ad hoc reporting: Perform ad hoc analysis and other duties as requested or assigned -Monthly Closings: Assist in required monthly financial closing processes, regulated filing submissions or interrogatories, and other Finance related functions as needed -Validation: Validate department-wide data sets and financials against source systems -Financial Analysis: Development of consolidated data, financial calculation and metrics, and reporting used in the analytics of DEV Finance -Process Improvement: Identify, recommend, and implement continuous improvement and process transparency

What You Bring

-Excellent leadership, organizational, interpersonal, teamwork, verbal and written communication skills -Advanced Excel (VBA), Power Query, or similar -5-6+ years of directly related experience in Accounting, Finance, Accounting or Financial Planning Systems, Business IT Systems, or Other Related Field -Utility and/or relevant industry experience preferred -Demonstrated competency in identifying and solving problems, and in logical and analytical thinking -Aptitude for continuous learning -Experience in financial management and analysis, accounting standards and practices required -Accounting or Financial Planning systems such as SAP, Anaplan, Hyperion, EPBCS or similar -Power BI or Tableau -Proven ability to work independently, prioritize and manage multiple tasks -Minimum Software Experience: Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills -Experience with financial modeling and scenario analysis -Preferred Software Experience (Strong experience in at least one): -Other cloud computing or data tools such as Snowflake, Alteryx, etc. -Good organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication -Oracle/Access/or other Database and SQL experience -2-3+ years of directly related experience in Accounting, Finance, Accounting or Financial Planning Systems, Business IT Systems, or another related field -Team player, analytical and customer focus skills -Preferred Software Experience (in at least one): -Knowledge: General financial planning and analysis concepts, general accounting standards and practices, utility and/or relevant industry knowledge
