Tasks

-Develop QAQC templates and folder structures in coordination with the project management and field leadership teams -Ensure full utilization of existing tools and programs to follow policies and procedures pertaining to projects and work evolutions managed by Miller Electric to provide overall quality control, operational excellence for project and maintenance work evolutions. -Build long-term relationships with both clients and fellow employees by consistently meeting expectations and offering innovative solutions. -Engage in and lead project walk-throughs to support QAQC and commissioning planning and execution. -Frequent project visits with field supervision and other personnel to understand progress, needs, or issues and provide hands-on training to QAQC personnel -Create QAQC documentation plans and execution strategy for site implementation. -Load Bank Layouts -Facilitate QAQC training for all project and maintenance team members and provide detailed on site training for personnel responsible for managing and executing QAQC and commissioning plans -Actively interfacing with project and maintenance teams to validate QAQC and commissioning expectations are understood and met before, during, and after project completion -Provide continuous improvement, operational excellence program improvements and standardization to include root cause analysis for quality incidents, QAQC and commissioning planning and execution -Facilitate meetings with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful deployment of QAQC initiatives across existing and new facilities -Conduct regular inspections and quality audits of electrical installations and systems to identify and resolve any non-conformances and train others to do the same -Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing skills and competencies to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity -Engage and cultivate opportunities for expanding preventative maintenance and NFPA 70B initiatives for existing clients or projects and identify new opportunities. -Proactively lead the team job site safety and adherence to company policies and national safety standards for personnel under his or her supervision. -Provide consistent feedback and reports to upstream stakeholders -Develop plans for QAQC and testing equipment maintenance, calibration, storage, and check out processes -Collaborate between project management team, engineers, manufacturers, owners, and contractors to establish quality requirements for projects and maintenance

What You Bring

-30 Hour OSHA Certification required within the first year -ACC Build -Extensive experience in reading and interpreting project specifications, QAQC controls, and commissioning initiatives -Field management experience in electrical contracting and maintenance required. -Good understanding of how to read electrical and mechanical drawings is required. -Experience and understanding of electrical installations, switchgear, and preventive maintenance in operational spaces -NFPA, NETA, IEEE, UL Codes -Process based work structure experience and ability to think critically -Experience training project teams on quality requirements and execution -BIM 360 Field -CX Alloy -Thorough knowledge of NFPA 70E standards and requirements -Proficiency in writing, reading, interpreting, and adhering to the following: -Experience with cross-discipline critical facility systems and operational experience. -Strong analytical and problem solving skills. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Certification in Quality Management -Bluebeam Revu -College degree, journeyman’s license, or master electrician’s license. -QAQC program creation and management experience -Understanding of electrical installations. -Quality Bulletins and Templates -10 years electrical quality assurance / quality control experience -Strong computer skills (required) and proficiency in the following programs (strongly preferred): -Brady Workstation -Thorough understanding of levels of commissioning and required documentation -Strong computer skills required. -Minimum of 5 years experience in QAQC in critical infrastructure spaces.
