Assist and conduct geotechnical drilling operations and field testing for infrastructure projects.

Tasks

-Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of drilling rigs and associated machinery. -Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures at all times. -Perform geotechnical testing and data collection in the field. -Routinely lifting and carrying 40-50lbs, (field/laboratory samples and equipment) -Assist/Conduct drilling operations for soil and rock samples using various drilling techniques and equipment. -Maneuver field equipment safely, such as a loaded wheelbarrow, on uneven ground and around active construction sites -Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.

What You Bring

-0-3 years of experience in Geotechnical Drilling, or a related field -Working outdoors the majority of the time in varying weather conditions -Commercial Drivers License (CDL), required for Drillers -Traveling out-of-town (typically overnight) for assignments as necessary -Walking over rough and uneven terrain -HAZWOPER certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months -Standing up to 8 hours a day, up to 12 hours on occasion -A High School diploma/GED
