Tasks

-Develop restoration scopes, technical specifications, and construction documents -Prepare and review FISP/Local Law 11 reports and filings -Work on high-impact projects that shape NYC's skyline and streetscape -Conduct site visits and construction administration for active restoration projects -Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal training initiatives -Manage project budgets, schedules, and client communications -Oversee Local Law 126 compliance strategies and documentation -Lead building envelope inspections, assessments, and restoration projects across NYC -Support efforts to obtain QEWI or QPSI credentials -Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success

What You Bring

We are seeking a Senior Building Envelope Architect or Engineer to lead restoration and compliance projects throughout New York City. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with FISP/Local Law 11 and Local Law 126, and a strong background in managing façade restoration projects from inspection through construction. The team is composed of highly skilled professionals who bring deep expertise in regulatory compliance, creative problem-solving, and construction oversight. The firm fosters a collaborative and intellectually rigorous environment, where technical mastery and mentorship are core values. Known for its commitment to quality and integrity, the firm is trusted by building owners, developers, and institutions to deliver solutions that balance safety, aesthetics, and long-term performance. -QEWI or QPSI designation is a plus, or a strong desire to pursue it -Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills -Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred -Proven track record managing restoration projects in NYC -Strong familiarity with FISP/Local Law 11 and Local Law 126 compliance -Minimum 7 years of experience in building envelope design, inspection, and restoration -Professional licensure: PE (Professional Engineer) or RA (Registered Architect) strongly preferred
