Tasks

The role is Overhead Line Supervisor. The main purpose of this role is to lead a team of Overhead Linesmen to achieve safe delivery, to time and adhering to quality standards and project specification. The role reports directly to the Project Manager. -Lead a team to ensure the safe, effective and efficient implementation of Freedom’s operations. -Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of Freedom and its customers. -Supervise installation and refurbishment of overhead lines up to 33kV. -Liaise with third parties to ensure the smooth implementation of work. -Ensure that accidents and near misses are suitably reported. -Maintain site safety at all times. -Maintain awareness of and conform to Freedom’s SHE policy and issued safety instructions. -Maintain and develop own competence, and that of the working party, in accordance with legislative changes and customer requirements. -Report any concerns regarding SHE to the SHE team and your Manager.
