Tasks

-Follow safety standards and assist with accurate documentation of work performed -Learn and assist with electrical testing and maintenance on power transformers and related equipment -Travel to assigned sites within Virginia as needed -Support transformer testing procedures, including: -Help with installation and calibration of transformer gauges and accessories

What You Bring

-Must be able to pass a fit for duty exam. -Transformer Turns Ratio (TTR) Testing -Must be available for regular overnight domestic travel and occasional international travel. -Able and willing to travel up to 75% as needed. -Must be able to crawl, climb, stand and lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations. -Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime, and occasional weekends, holidays and nights. -Insulation Resistance Testing -Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols -Basic understanding of electrical principles -Familiarity with transformer testing equipment -Winding Resistance Measurement -Must have a 2 year degree with electrical theory -Must possess a current and valid driver’s license, and be able to maintain a good driving record. -Power Factor and Capacitance Testing
