Responsible for competitive project bids and maintaining a 25% profit margin through out the construction process.
Responsible for reporting both current and future production and challenges to management.
Responsible for working with upper management on yearly budgets, goals and expectations.
Coordinating proposed work, tracking production, and driving quality and safety standards with sub-contractors in accordance with project specifications.
Responsible for interviewing, potential employees and recruiting per team needs. E.g., Splicer or Operators as needed.
Responsible for monitoring and ensuring schedule performance and quality workmanship of sub-contractors as well as reviewing and approving contractor payment requests.
Responsible for communicating schedules and priorities, construction standards, and task delegation to sub-contractors and TEP inspectors, as well as communicating effectively with customers and authorities having jurisdiction (includes homeowners, inspectors, and other contractors).
Responsible for using local knowledge of the market to find new clients/customers to grow the TEP Fiber customer base.
Responsible for managing, maintaining, and growing vendor relations throughout various projects and managing multiple customers.

5 years minimum experience with Directional Drilling equipment to include Directional Drill Rigs, Trenching equipment (mini excavators, ditch witch, plows, etc.) and aerial installation methods.
Must have excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively work with project managers, vendors, sub-contractors, and customers.
Experience working with Google Earth and Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and OneNote required. Prior experience with Smartsheet and Box strongly preferred.
Must be self-disciplined and self-motivated.
5 years minimum experience with all aspects of Horizontal Directional Drilling standards, including 811 services, all DOT and local municipality general working requirements, and OSHA safety requirements.
Must be able to stand, bend, squat, walk, move, lift, and carry equipment (>50lb) for the duration of the work day.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) dating back 5 years.
Must be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, including being able to generate Redlines and As-Builts.
Must be able to travel 3-5 days per week required.
