Tasks

-Evaluate new and existing suppliers and subcontractors and negotiates purchase agreements with them. -Ensure compliance with management, approved procedures, and policies with respect to time, cost, and quality. -Procure equipment, materials, and systems complying with the project quality and specification requirements. -Assess supplier/contractor performance re: quality, cost, delivery, service -Ensure on-time delivery of equipment and materials to the support site installation works as per the approved work program. -Procure materials and subcontract in a timely manner within the approved budget cost. -Develop and maintain good relationship with suppliers and subcontractors. -Conduct vendor evaluation and registration. -Negotiate contracts/agreements for purchasing of materials

What You Bring

-Microsoft Office skills. -Holding a valid UAE driver's license. -Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering -Know about the equipment, materials, and supplies used in the industry and their suppliers. -Market knowledge in sourcing of materials and services. -Minimum of 3-4 years' relevant experience within GCC in a procurement function for civil projects (construction) -Working knowledge of ERP systems e.g., Oracle, SAP, Ariba etc.
