Perform electric line construction and maintenance as a Groundman for Xcel Energy.
-Must be able to respond to after-hours call out, both weekends and evenings. -Completion of an accredited Lineman program or Xcel Energy equivalent. -Highly developed mechanical ability. -Must be willing to participate in written and hands on assessments -Good communication skills (both written and verbal). -Work experience operating construction equipment. -Possess Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) -Must be in excellent physical condition and be able to operate a 90 lb. jackhammer.
