Tasks
-Ensure optimal long-term asset integrity and reliability by implementing asset management and reliability improvement plans and programs. -Support RAMS manager in failure analysis and asset performance assessment and generate reports -Participate in development and optimisation of processes to improve business efficiency whilst at the same time, identifying opportunities for cost reduction. -Participate and offer technical expertise in meetings with client and other relevant parties for asset reliability improvement initiatives. -Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff. -provide technical expertise to deploy continuous improvement in process systems and physical asset’s maintenance and reliability through the detection, analysis, review and process for the elimination of defects. -Continuous efforts to improve/sustain asset reliability and minimise life cycle cost -Support in conducting assurance activities in connection with the Maintenance activities and processes -Liaise closely with Internal and external stakeholders and teams (i.e. KM internal teams, suppliers, vendors and contractors) to facilitate related activities to deliver asset management plans utilising sound engineering frameworks, strategy, and standards, to ensure strategic business objectives are met. -Coach groups and individuals as required to deliver and sustain the asset performance improvement -Support RAMS manager to implement FRACAS (Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Actions System) process and the defect elimination program -Coordinate the implementation of selected performance improvement projects, e.g. in the areas of maintenance backlog reduction, schedule compliance or productivity. -Support in creating and updating Improvement plans for maintenance processes and asset reliability -Offer reliability assessment inputs to develop a robust obsolescence management plan to improve asset life cycle -Proactively identify, maintain and own the Opportunities for Improvement (OFI). OFIs are identified through internal and external process and business events for sustained performance improvement in the organization, with a strong focus on risk, cost and performance management. -Provide fit-for-purpose management information required to facilitate regular health assessment and diagnostics of the Maintenance activities and processes -Regular reporting on asset RAM performance -Designing and implementing corrective solutions, reliability improvement plans, in line with change management procedures. -Monitor, analyze and oversee all the critical maintenance activities provided by maintenance teams related to his scope of work -Cater to client’s high expectations -Supervision of technical investigations and reports preparation -Organising the analysis of recurring defects and faults and identifying trends in asset failures -Partner with and provide guidance to maintenance teams, in reliability related processes and the identification of critical spares.

-Teamwork - good interpersonal skills and the ability to establish trust with E&M and operations teams at all levels -Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics Mechanical) -Railway RAMS Standards (EN 501XX), -Strategic thinking - the ability to think long-term and make decisions that align with the Companys goals and objectives. Acts on own initiative and able to take a creative, innovative approach as well as work as part of a team. -Have key input into root-cause failure analysis of assets, systems, and sound judgement in suggested improvements -Reliability Assessment – Previous experience in reliability engineering, sound understanding of underlying principles, standards and tools and techniques. -Failure Investigation and root cause analysis -Analytical skills - Trend analysis, root cause analysis, data driven comprehensive investigation methodologies -Ethical behaviour - the ability to conduct business in an ethical and transparent manner, and to instill a culture of integrity. -Communication: the ability to communicate information clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders. Strong experience in working collaboratively and cross-functionally. -Analytical skills – Strong skill levels in Microsoft Excel and power BI -Work experience in reliability engineering domain -Rail Systems – Thorough understanding of rail systems (such as Rolling Stock, Signalling, Power Supply etc.) -Reliability analysis methodologies and tools, -Good communication skills (Fluent in English). -Analytical skills - Good knowledge of railway RAMS standards and relevant practices of hazard analysis, FMECA (Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis), FTA (Fault tree Analysis) -Decision making - the ability to make sound and timely decisions, weighing the potential risks /benefits of various options
