Overview

Inspect, test and ensure quality of high‑voltage substation construction.

Tasks

-Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports on quality control activities -Ensure that safety and quality standards are adhered to in all operations -Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve quality issues -Review and analyze quality control specifications and recommend improvements -Document and report inspection findings and test results -Coordinate with production teams to implement corrective actions for identified quality issues -Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and policies -Train and educate staff on quality control processes and standards -Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify potential areas for improvement -Monitor operations to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards -Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure they meet quality standards

What You Bring

-Experience with high voltage electrical projects is required -The ability to balance your work and family activities. -OHSA 10 or OSHA 30 (No more than 3 years old) -Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Manufacturing -Basic understanding of quality control procedures and standards -Well versed and experienced in electrical means and methods -Proficient in quality control software and tools -Previous experience in quality control or quality assurance roles -Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite -Substation experience is preferred -Certifications such as Six Sigma or ISO 9001 -Experience with inspection and testing processes -Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings -Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
