Overview
Assist healthcare clients with financial reporting, month‑end close, and ledger management.

Tasks
-Guide the review and approval of account classifications. -Prepare and finalize month-end close. -Prepare and/or review work papers and schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy. -Manage day-to-day financial reporting accuracy for assigned clients. -Participate in cross-collaboration with other teams/service lines, as applicable. -Coordinate project tasks to ensure efficient client workflow. -Assist in the development of best practices. -Prepare and/or review the initial draft of monthly reporting packages, including KPIs/metrics. -Maintain and update the client procedure manual to ensure appropriate process documentation. -Assist with complex general ledgers, identifying missing transactions and trends to ensure overall accuracy. -Review balance sheets for accuracy and facilitate follow-up. -Assist in estimating and managing work assignments of accountants to meet client needs and budget constraints.

What You Bring
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills -Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field -Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes -Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite -Experience with full cycle accounting in the healthcare industry e.g., physician practice, skilled nursing, hospitals and clinics -Ability to project manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines -Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills -CPA certification preferred -Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting and general ledger management
