Overview

Maintain and repair drainage systems with HGV and high‑pressure jetting, providing customer service.

Tasks

-Record each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided -Travelling to residential sites via a HGV in a two person team, around the region, powering a high-pressure water jet for restoration -Carry out risk assessments and have a mature approach to risk perception -Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them -Dynamically risk assess site access and working conditions depending on specific circumstances on arrival -Report any defects or malfunctions -Provide support to your colleagues -Comply with health and safety responsibilities, i.e. PPE / safe site setups protecting Lanes Group employees, the public and other road users -Utilise VISTEC and Salesforce platforms -Manipulate (including loading and unloading to / from tanker pipe storage trays) flexible pipework in a safe manner utilising correct manual handling techniques -Liaising with the client regarding process and any updates -Operate JHL specification vacuum tankers and associated equipment -Run diagnostics and repairs on drains -Conduct thorough inspections of tools, equipment and plant before and after use -Delivering good customer service -Maintaining good health and safety practise while carrying out works -Clean, clear and maintain drainage systems -Safely access vehicle cabs, sites and offices using correct procedures (e.g., three points of contact...) -Ensure vehicle stock is full and replenished
