Tasks
We are recruiting an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Leeds based team. You will be supporting the Accounts Payable function by managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and processing supplier transactions accurately and efficiently. Also, you’ll get the opportunity to collaborate with internal stakeholders, resolve queries, manage national accounts, and contribute to system improvements and audit readiness. -Manage vendor records and maintain accuracy of the supplier Masterfile -Monitor and manage E-Invoicing exceptions to ensure timely processing -Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries -Participating in team engagement events -Assist with system testing and support finance-related projects -Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve supplier queries and payment issues -Ensure adherence to compliance and control procedures across AP processes -Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies -Participating in monthly supplier meetings and conducting site visits to strengthen relationships -Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies -Ensure compliance with VAT, CIS, and other relevant financial regulations -Ensure compliance with VAT, CIS, and internal financial controls -Manage national accounts and act as a key point of contact for high-volume suppliers

What You Bring
-Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills -Proven experience in Accounts Payable and vendor management -Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities -Good understanding of VAT, CIS, and audit requirements -Extensive knowledge of 3 way matching -Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities -Solid knowledge of financial systems and E-Invoicing platforms
