The Role

Overview

Drive shuttle to transport staff/equipment, perform inspections, and handle on‑call duties.

Tasks

-Report any incidents, vehicle defects, or passenger safety concerns -Fuel, wash, and check fluid levels of the vehicle -Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness -Transport personnel and equipment between predetermined locations -Follow all safety and driving protocols in varying road and weather conditions -Provide a driver's abstract upon application and annually -Assist passengers with loading & unloading equipment as needed -Operate a fleet vehicle during 12-hour standby shifts -Maintain a safe and harassment-free environment for everyone -Respond to on-call needs within a 30-minute window when scheduled -Conduct pre-and post-trip inspections and basic reporting -Operate a two-way radio and manage fares accurately -Promoting a smoke free environment

What You Bring

-Able to work independently with changing schedules -Proven customer service experience -Experience in rural or winter driving conditions is an asset -Previous taxi or shuttle driving experience -Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility -Ability to work independently -Valid Driver's License - minimum of Class 4 -Hold a clean commercial driver’s abstract -Company phone provided during shifts; vehicle must remains on site. -Able to clear a required criminal record check and drug & alcohol test

Benefits

-8 regular hours at $20/hour -Overtime paid at $40/hour for shifts exceeding 12 hours -Modified 4-on / 3-off rotating schedule | 12-hour on-call shifts -4 additional hours at $30/hour -Casual with no guaranteed hours; ideal for flexible availability
