Fabricate hollow metal doors, frames and related products per specs.

Tasks

-Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and safe condition. -Prioritize quality of finished products while completing shop orders in a timely manner. -Fabricate hollow metal doors, frames, sidelights, borrowed lites, and custom assemblies according to drawings, specifications, and order details. -Fit and weld components to create complete assemblies, ensuring proper alignment and tolerances. -Grind, sand, and finish welded parts for smooth, paint-ready surfaces. -Measure, cut, punch, notch, and form metal components using shears, presses, brakes, and other fabrication tools. -Inspect completed items for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications. -Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). -Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication sheets, and work orders. -Work collaboratively with other team members, production leads, and supervisors to meet daily production goals. -Tag, package, and prepare finished products for shipping or installation.

What You Bring

-If you have fabrication experience, the following background is a plus -Knowledge of MIG welding and basic metal finishing techniques. -Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, fabrication sheets, and technical drawings. -Experience operating fabrication tools such as brake presses, shears, punch presses, and welders.
