Tasks

-Build strong relationships with clients and contribute to business development opportunities alongside senior leaders -Lead and manage medium to large-scale contaminated land projects from scoping to delivery -Deliver high-quality reports, proposals and communications for clients and regulators -Navigate stakeholder engagement with government agencies and regulatory bodies -Ensure safety, quality, budget, and schedule performance on projects -Collaborate with multi-disciplinary specialists across Australia on major national projects -Ownership: Participate in our employee stock purchase plan -Provide technical leadership, oversight, and mentorship to junior consultants

What You Bring

-Excellent technical writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills -Be an Australian permanent resident or citizen (required for the Department of Defence) -Strong project management skills with a focus on quality and delivery -Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP – General, Site Contamination Specialist) or Certified Professional Soil Scientist (CPSS) highly regarded -Strong knowledge of national and state environmental regulations, guidelines, and standards relevant to contaminated sites -Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in contaminated land consulting, including site assessments, remediation, and regulatory engagement -Hold a full Australian driver’s license -Degree qualified in Environmental Science/Engineering or related discipline. Postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded
