The Role

Overview

Manage subcontractors, programs, procurement, cost, safety on large construction projects.

Tasks

-Review and sign-off of subcontractor claims and variations. -Develop and manage medium and short-range construction programs. -Implementation of project EHS and quality plans and project management plan requirements. -Procurement of tender packages and preparation of subcontract agreements. -Preparation of cost forecasts and manage cost controls/reporting for designated work areas. -Design management and coordination.

What You Bring

-Clear and articulate communication skills coupled with an ability to manage stakeholders, both internally and externally. -To be an Australian Citizen at the time of application. -Degree qualification in a relevant field of study (Engineering, Construction Management etc). -Previous on-site construction delivery experience, looking after major trade packages. -To hold or be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance. -Ideally 4-8 years' experience in the construction industry, preferably on large-scale building construction projects. (I.e. Commercial, residential, defence and healthcare).
