Technical Project Manager

Description

• Monitor program performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure high-quality, value-added communications, status reporting, issue resolution, and stakeholder management.
• Participate in the continuous development of industry-specific accelerators, such as templates, best practices, and automation tools.
• Conduct regular program reviews and monitor risks and issues, developing mitigation plans as necessary.
• Manage the Master Project Plan using a hybrid agile/waterfall methodology.
• Prepare and present status reports to leadership.
• Identify and expand opportunities in Program Management, Lean Management, and Change Management.
• Establish a governance framework and maintain a weekly work management cadence.
• Maintain a repository of program documentation and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to manage all phases of the implementation lifecycle, including requirements, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
• 4+ years of experience supporting complex portfolios of projects
• Expertise in Microsoft Project
• Experience in risk management and managing complex portfolios
• Master's degree in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or related fields is preferred
• Proven experience in delivering large-scale systems engineering programs
• Strong Systems Engineering and Integration skills
• Proficiency in MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering)
• OCSMP Certification or equivalent is preferred
• PMP Certification
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• In-depth understanding of cross-program Risk Management, Schedule Management, and Status Reporting
• Experience supporting Navy SSP Strategic Weapons System is preferred
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders both internal and external
