Tasks

-Manage the procurement and commercial administration of subcontractors, ensuring compliance and performance. -Meticulously manage all contract variations and compensation events, negotiating and agreeing on fair and reasonable costs. -Expertly manage and administer NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contracts (ECC), including Early Warnings, -Proactively identify, assess, and manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle. -Potentially mentor and guide junior members of the commercial team. -Oversee all commercial aspects of multiple projects from inception to final account. -Implement robust cost control measures, produce accurate CVRs, and provide detailed financial reports and forecasts to senior management. -Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, and internal project teams.

What You Bring

-Previous experience with Substations/ High Voltage Power -Substantial experience as a Quantity Surveyor. -Full UK driving licence. -In-depth, practical knowledge and experience of managing contracts under the NEC 3 or NEC4 suite. -A proactive, solutions-driven attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. -Strong commercial acumen and excellent negotiation skills.
