OT cybersecurity intern for water and wastewater projects

Tasks

-Conduct site visits and assist with asset inventory and data gathering. -Contribute to the development of assessment reports. -Help review CISA alerts and KEV (Known Exploited Vulnerabilities) catalogs for specific OT products. -Stay up to date on OT cybersecurity trends and emerging threats and actively share new insights with the team to support collective learning. -Participate in cybersecurity workshops for risk and vulnerability assessments. -Collaborate with other disciplines to help integrate cybersecurity measures into project designs. -Support cybersecurity framework crosswalk exercises by collaborating with colleagues to map and compare different standards and controls. -Assist in reviewing OT architecture designs and configurations against IEC/ISA-62443 and other established cybersecurity frameworks, working closely with team members and subject matter experts.

What You Bring

-Gain familiarity with EPA’s Water Cybersecurity Assessment Tool (WCAT). -Prior work or internship experience with cybersecurity assessments, design and implementation experience. -Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical, controls engineering, or a closely related field of study. -Gain familiarity with industrial cybersecurity standards such as NIST 800 series, IEC/ISA-62443, and NIST CSF 2.0. -Design and programming experience in the water and wastewater industry. -Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project). -Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
