Tasks

-Prepare proposals and presentations for customer interviews -Qualify project opportunities by talking to customers to learn scope, risk, how they plan to go to market, when the work will take place, when the work will be awarded -Review plans and specifications to understand the scope of work -Work with our customers to develop a clear understanding of project scopes and clearly communicate this information to internal team members -Meet with customers, engineers, vendors, sub-contractors and other business development people within the market to find opportunities, understand conditions and help to build our forecast -Meet with new and existing customers to build and strengthen relationships

What You Bring

-Knowledge and interest of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, accounting, cost forecasting, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources -Ability to travel as necessary to jobs and meetings -Possess client management skills; ability to manage customer relationships, perceptions and expectations -Ability to demonstrate foresight and problem-solving skills to make sound business decisions -Demonstrate proficiency Microsoft Excel for cost estimating and engineering functions -Business development experience -Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and the ability to interpret computerized cost data
