Tasks

-Support Cumming Group to meet, and preferably exceed, financial targets of the business -Be able to make informed decisions for the benefit of our clients and the business -Ensure staff are aware of, and are delivering, their responsibilities -The co-ordination, management, and development of Cumming Group Staff -Client management – with the support of the directors assume responsibility for the management, liaison and servicing of clients -Operational delivery – ensure the successful delivery of contracts you and your responsible staff are dealing with, in a timely manner and to the highest standards -Compliance/Ethics - ensure that Cumming Group company standards are adhered to on all works undertaken -Management and delivery of Cumming Group commissions – fee earning projects -Always represent the company in a professional and confident manner -Business development – Deliver organic growth with existing clients. With the support of the directors Identify and source new opportunities and clients to support the ongoing growth of the business -Office management – take responsibility for the day-to-day practical and office management aspects of the office -Support, develop and improve the professional and interpersonal skills of the Cumming Group team -Ensure clients always receive an exemplary level of service and performance from yourself and the Cumming Group team

What You Bring

The ability to – Required to be an experienced QS, knowledgeable, adaptable and able to provide the full range of QS services. -Energetic, self-motivated and able to take a flexible and adaptable approach -Able to manage and coordinate a team of Quantity Surveyors -Commercially astute and numerate -Social Housing and Contractor QS experience (Essential) -Demonstrable leadership and motivational qualities -Possess clear and concise communication skills – written and spoken -Able to produce both summarised and detailed reports -Commercial negotiation skills
