  • Contribute to refining estimating processes, templates, and best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Leverage deep market knowledge and competitive intelligence to position the company for long-term success
  • Support executive and sales leadership with cost models, risk analyses, and bid/no-bid recommendations
  • Lead estimating efforts for complex and high-value electrical construction projects, from pre-bid strategy through final submission
  • Mentor and train junior estimators, fostering skill development and consistency in estimating practices
  • Perform QA/QC reviews of all electrical bids to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications
  • Maintain and grow strategic relationships with electrical contractors, general contractors, engineers, and suppliers

  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with a track record of developing junior estimators
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Construction Management, or a closely related discipline
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in electrical estimating, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in estimating or related roles
  • Expert-level proficiency in electrical estimating software and demonstrated ability to drive process improvements
  • Specialty experience in water/wastewater electrical systems highly preferred
  • Regularly required to sit Work Environment:
  • Light physical effort equal distribution of mail
  • Advanced certifications in estimating, project management, or construction leadership preferred
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, cost structures, and competitive bid strategies
