The Role

Overview

Manage end-to-end import-export operations, documentation and stakeholder coordination.

Tasks

-Post-shipment documentation and consignment tracking. -Managing insurance claims for damaged/lost import consignments. -Booking courier shipments and arranging pickups. -Support for closure of EDPMS. -Scrutiny and verification of import documents (Invoice, Packing List, COO, BL/AWB). -Ensuring Trade Compliance, Statutory compliance with RBI, FEMA, and FTP guidelines for imports & knowledge on Compliance requirements like BIS, WPC, EPR, SIMS, etc. -Liaising with CHA for customs clearance and duty payment. -Timely order booking and export invoicing (including Inter-company & Indent orders in ERP. -Liaising with Customer Centres for approvals and documentation. -Support in reconciliation of import data for audits (Internal Audits, Customs / AEO Audits) -Monthly MIS and CO₂ data reporting. -Monitoring & Documentation Statutory compliance, Trade Compliance and Export incentives (DBK, Brand Rate DBK, RoDTEP). -Preparation of Challans for domestic movements & E-waybills. -Tracking inbound shipments and updating stakeholders. -Coordination with overseas suppliers for shipment readiness and documentation. -Support for closure of IDPMS. -Coordination with CHA, Freight forwarders, and transporters for cargo/container movement. -Ensuring timely filing of Bill of Entry and compliance with customs regulations. -Preparation of export documentation (Shipping Bill, Bill of Lading, Declarations for customs)

What You Bring

-Familiarity with import documentation, Duty structures, and DGFT procedures. -Diploma in Import & Export Management is an added advantage. -Ability to work under pressure in a time-sensitive environment. -7-8 years of experience in Exports & Imports, Logistics / Supply chain field. -In-depth understanding of FTP, customs regulations, RBI/FEMA guidelines, and shipping processes. -Open to learning and adapting to new systems, regulations, and global trade practices. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate across departments and external partners. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.). -Hands-on experience with ERP systems. -Highly customer-oriented with a collaborative mindset. -Documentation & knowledge on FTAs, Preferential & Non-Preferential CoO. -Analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving. -Knowledge of Power BI & latest AI based tools in Logistics will be added advantage. -Strong knowledge of both Exports & Imports operational processes. -Watch Video - Make in Nashik (the future is here) -Knowledge of taxes (Basics of GST) and related legal compliance. -Graduate in Commerce / Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
