Tasks

-Enhancing system performance and efficiency through automation and control strategies. -TBE, VDR and follow-up engineering activities -Preparing data sheets, Cause and effect diagrams, logic verifications, Input to interdepartmental interfaces -Planning and executing Instrumentation engineering design for field instrumentation, Distributed Control System (DCS), Supervisory control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Integrated Control System (ICS), Fire and Gas, Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Telecommunications systems. This entails the preparation of basic design, detailed design of the instrumentation and controls part of the project. -Co-ordination with Project and client -Assisting in the preparation of project proposals and pre-qualification documents in what relates to Instrumentation engineering design. -Diagnosing and resolving issues to maintain seamless operations. -Creating and implementing advanced instrumentation systems for industrial processes. -Identifying new methodology of work process required for higher productivity. -Ensuring that the design is carried out as per the industry standard practices and in conformance with the quality management system. -Ensuring all instrumentation adheres to industry standards and regulatory requirements. -Researching and integrating new technologies to improve system capabilities -Identification of issues that impede project progress and reporting to Project Managers and Discipline Heads -The Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer is primarily engaged in the design, modeling, and analysis of I & C engineering requirements on a project, tender or proposal, as per client standards, international codes, and project scope of work. -Assimilating the evolution of new products and technology, and updating oneself on the latest international standards in terms of engineering design practices and their applications -Leading instrumentation projects, coordinating with teams, and managing budgets. -Preparation of Construction work packs

What You Bring

-Fully coherent in all international codes and standards. -SPI knowledge / experience is mandatory in Index, I/O List, Data sheets and Loop drawing -Offshore design experience and RLE FPSO experience are mandatory. -Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline -Excellent command of both spoken and written English is required. -Offshore experience is mandatory. -Experience in SPI – Specification and loop wiring module -At least 08 to 14 Years of experience with instrumentation in the Oil & Gas environment
