Tasks

-Maintain accurate records in property management software (e.g., Yardi, BuildingLink, SharePoint) -Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and rent collections -Help prepare and distribute notices, reports, meeting minutes, and communications -Support the Property Manager in daily operations of a portfolio of residential and mixed-use properties -Manage vendor scheduling, invoice tracking, and contract renewals -Assist with property inspections, maintenance coordination, and follow-ups on open work orders -Monitor compliance with local laws, building codes, and PPM’s internal standards -Contribute to resident satisfaction initiatives and community engagement efforts -Act as a point of contact for tenants, owners, vendors, and building staff

What You Bring

We seek a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support our property management team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, service-driven, and capable of helping oversee day-to-day property operations, administrative functions, vendor management, and resident relations. -Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience accepted -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Yardi, BuildingLink, CondoCafe, SharePoint a plus -1–3 years of property management or real estate experience -Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities -Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks -Familiarity with NYC property compliance requirements a plus -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
