Overview

Assist in oversight reviews of transit agencies, conduct audits, draft reports, and provide training.

Tasks

-Attending and providing expertise during recipient workshops -Responsible for assisting with Comprehensive Oversight Review -Leading or assisting with Special Assignment, Technical Assistance, and Corrective Action Support tasks -Assisting with the development of program and training content in alignment with FTA policy and guidance -Participating in conference calls, meetings, and conferences, as needed -Drafting reports and technical memoranda

What You Bring

-Ability to locate root causes of issues, research multiple issues simultaneously, and to write comprehensive, accurate, and concise reports in a timely fashion -Capable of giving professional oral presentations -Demonstrated ability to identify risks in the management of public transit, verify if requirements are complied with, and present solutions to any identified concerns -Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning -Ability to explain complex topics or requirements to non-expert audiences -Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with progressively increasing responsibility -Strong analytical and training skills -Experience in compliance testing and/or audit roles
