Tasks

-Complete field walks to gain thorough understanding of JHA’s and pretask planning. Review for understanding field safety and compliance items. -Work with project staff to incorporate safety preplanning into all phases of the projects. -Utilize project closeout checklist to assemble project closeout documents as they are generated. -Model GCON values on jobsite and interactions with subcontractors and clients. -Assist with document control process and maintenance of current contract documents. -Assist in monthly GC/GR forecasting and management. -Assist with preparation of assembling Contract Items List (CIL) and compliance. -Participate in monthly payment application process and subcontractor invoice reviews and approvals. -Assist in developing pre-assembly meeting agendas and minutes. -Help develop subcontract labor projections for field to support Superintendent needs. -Utilize volunteer time to support the community and foster GCON community relations. -Ensure pricing data is accurate and process flow of approvals is followed. -Understand and assist with implementing project-specific Quality Control (QC) Plan. -Input correct data into CMiC.

What You Bring

-Interpret safety scopes of work for contractors assigned to project. Confidently present safety-related information with the ability to respond to related questions. -Computer Software Experience -Hearing: Sufficient to hear conversational levels in person and over the telephone and radio; sufficient to hear alarms on equipment -BIM 360 -Assemble & MS Project P6 or similar software platforms. -Hands/Arms: Constant use of hands/fingers for mouse/keyboard/computer use -Understand importance of Daily Construction Reports (DCR) and review for accuracy. -Complete/have completed OSHA 30-hour training with current certificate and complies with all safety regulations. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, related field, or equivalent experience. -Ability and willingness for potential travel. -Understand basics of GSTEPS -Input Potential Change Orders (PCO) and Issues in CMiC, accurately. -Legs: Must be able to climb stairs -Lift/Carry: Up to 40lbs -Understand basic scheduling and assist with assembly of Long Lead Matrix; understand how documents are coordinated with Submittal Log and Project Schedule milestones. -Understand GCON safety “Incident and Injury Free Environment (IIFE)”. -Understand Request for Information (RFI) and submittal processes and impact to risk mitigation. -Ability to learn and adapt to technology platforms. -Vision: Visual acuity in near, mid, and far range. Color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, hand/eye coordination -Know Step 1 “owners’ definition of success” on project. -Speech: Sufficient to make oneself heard in person, speak in front of groups, and be understood over the telephone and radio
