Tasks

-Supply of raw materials to outsourcing vendors as per the Picklist -Conduct regular safety drills and training for contract workers handling materials. -Oversee the receipt and unloading of raw materials with proper documentation (delivery challans, invoices, and purchase orders) -Issue raw materials to production and outsourcing teams as per schedules -Supervise contract workmen for material handling -Ensure storage conditions meet material-specific requirements (e.g., rustproofing, weather protection) -Ensure safe material handling -Develop and maintain a systematic layout for materials in storage to optimize space utilization. -Enforce adherence to material handling safety standards (e.g., using appropriate tools and PPE) -Verify the quantity and quality of materials received against purchase orders in coordination with QC.
