Overview
Lead project planning, execution, and estimating for geotechnical infrastructure projects.

Tasks
-Deliver timely updates on project milestones, risks, and changes. -Perform reviews of estimates and construction documents to ensure accuracy and completeness. -Act as estimating lead on multiple, simultaneous bids. -Review drawings, specifications, and RFPs to develop accurate quantities and pricing. -Contribute to the development and refinement of estimating and project delivery best practices. -Participate in presentations and owner/architect meetings during preconstruction and execution phases. -Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned. -Direct and support project teams including engineers, estimators, and superintendents. -Conduct detailed quantity take-offs across various civil trades and prepare comprehensive budgets. -Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. -Solicit, evaluate, and integrate subcontractor and supplier bids. -Oversee execution to ensure adherence to contract documents, timelines, and budget constraints. -Monitor project budgets, forecast costs, and recommend corrective actions when necessary. -Develop and manage project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. -Use of personal protective equipment as required on job sites. -Provide mentorship to junior staff and lead multidisciplinary coordination. -Develop conceptual and schematic budgets with limited documentation. -Foster a collaborative team culture and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and site visits. -Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies. -Address on-site challenges and coordinate issue resolution. -Attend site visits and pre-bid walkthroughs as needed. -Ensure projects meet quality standards and safety regulations. -Coordinate self-performed and subcontracted scopes of work. -Use estimating software (e.g., B2W) and project management tools to document workflows. -Prepare and present estimates and strategy recommendations to internal and external stakeholders. -Maintain accurate project records, including bid documentation and execution reports.

What You Bring
-Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. -Ability to travel up to 30% for project-related needs. -Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. -Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, and estimating/project management software. -Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. -Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and team coordination. -PE, CE, CM, or PMP certification preferred. -Regular use of computers, phones, and office equipment; ability to lift up to 25 lbs. -Master’s Degree preferred -8+ years of experience in construction estimating and/or project management of heavy civil infrastructure projects. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management required; Master’s degree preferred.
