Client‑facing engineer who identifies, pursues and develops new geotechnical project opportunities to drive growth.

Tasks

-Lead client meetings and negotiations, understanding technical requirements and proposing effective solutions. -Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and risks. -Structure pricing, promotions, and contracts that balance client value with disciplined margin performance. -Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet sales targets and growth objectives. -Provide accurate forecasting and reporting of project pipeline and account performance. -Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients. -Stay current on geotechnical and infrastructure market dynamics to identify opportunities for expansion, upselling, or cross-selling. -Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, estimating, and field operations to develop winning proposals. -Resolve project or account-related challenges quickly, maintaining strong customer satisfaction and partnership continuity. -Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in client organizations.

What You Bring

-Ability to physically make field visits, walk steep slopes, and traverse geohazards during site assessments. -Demonstrated success leading complex projects or accounts from concept to completion. -Self-starter mentality with high learning agility and intellectual curiosity. -Self-motivated leader who can operate independently in a dynamic environment. -Exceptional focus on understanding customer needs and proactively delivering solutions. -Candidates must be based in Florida, preferably in the Orlando, FL metro area. -Strategic thinker with technical depth and commercial judgment. -Strong commercial acumen with experience in deal-making and contract negotiation. -PE license highly preferred but not required. -Proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders without direct authority. -Company-sponsored travel required: approximately 50% regionally, including regular customer site visits and occasional overnight trips. -Experience with geohazards. -Prior experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Zendesk, etc.). -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. -Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. -12+ years of experience in a B2B, consultative technical sales or account management environment. -Deep understanding of geotechnical construction, infrastructure development, or related industries. -Results-oriented problem solver who performs under pressure and acts decisively.
