Tasks

-Ensure all equipment is in good working order and ready for field use and report any damaged equipment or devices accordingly -Set up, maintain, and remove temporary work zones per MnDOT, and MUTCD standards. -Assist with traffic control setups and pickups for most home Gopher Football games (Three Game minimum) -Respond to on-call and weekend assignments as needed. -Work independently while maintaining daily communication with supervisors and dispatch -Follow all applicable laws while driving a company vehicle. -Will be a part of the On-call rotation with other current traffic control drivers -Assist with maintaining organized and clean traffic yards. -Safely operate company truck and trailers to transport traffic control equipment to and from jobsites and traffic yards. -Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections -Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time

Requirements

What You Bring

-Valid driver’s license and clean driving -Ability to lift 50 -Prior experience in traffic control, equipment maintenance, or construction is preferred. -Must have good employee and customer relationship skills -Reliable, self-motivated -Must have good written and verbal communication skills -Ability to work independently -CDL preferred but not required -Work outdoors in all seasons -Must have the ability to coordinate several tasks at once and work under strict deadlines
