Tasks

-Participate in software compliance remediation and entitlement reconciliation. -Configure and maintain SAM Pro features such as normalization, reconciliation, and license optimization. -Generate reports and dashboards to support audits and provide insights into software usage and compliance. -Create and maintain software asset records including Software Models, Discovery Models, Entitlements, and Allocations. -Support software request workflows through the ServiceNow portal, including catalog item creation and portal enhancements. -Collaborate with IT, procurement, and finance teams to align SAM activities with organizational goals. -Maintain documentation for SAM configurations and procedures. -Resolve unmatched or partially normalized Software Discovery Models to ensure accurate data.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with ServiceNow modules such as CMDB, ITSM, Discovery, and ITAM. -Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) -Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Asset Management or IT Asset Management, with hands-on experience using ServiceNow SAM Pro. -Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. -All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations. -Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript, Glide) is a plus. -Familiarity with software licensing models and compliance requirements. -ITIL Foundation Certification -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -Experience with asset lifecycle management and software audits. -Work involves sitting most of the time, working with computer, keyboard, mouse and headset -Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment. -ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) -Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience. -Understanding of software licensing models (e.g., per-user, per-device, subscription, concurrent use) and compliance requirements. -2+ years' experience in IT Asset Management or related field -All positions require the ability to exert up to 15 pounds of force to lift, carry, push or pull objects.
