The Role

Overview

Assist with quality audits, corrective actions, and ISO compliance on construction projects

Tasks

-Review documentation, interview staff, and administer audit assessments -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Manage Corrective Action Reports and facilitate Root Cause Analysis -Provide administrative support for audits and other quality initiatives -Stay current on District Quality Manuals -Communicate client feedback to employees -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Maintain a strong understanding of company standards and guidelines -Participate in standards meetings and contribute quality-related insights -Develop and maintain Project Quality Plans and associated metrics -Mentor Project Quality Coordinators -Track and analyze client critique schedules an trends -Assist with planning and conducting internal quality audits -Identify and mitigate potential quality issues -Deliver quality presentations and share updates via internal channels

What You Bring

-Strong work ethic and integrity -Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet goals -Regular, reliable attendance -Understand ISO 9001 requirements -Ability to access all areas of a construction site in varying conditions -Certifications such as ASQ, CQM, CQA, or CWI are a plus -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment -Willingness to travel and relocate (25%–50%) -Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills -Pursuing a degree in construction management, engineering, welding technology, or a related field -Familiarity with construction-related quality control procedures preferred -Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
