Tasks

The estimator is responsible for developing cost estimates on routine small projects under direct supervision for construction as required by clients documents. -Prepare material orders and other documentation. -Visit job sites to assess progress, maintain logs, troubleshoot problems, and evaluate work. -Confer with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, and negotiate and use local expertise to estimate costs. -Create project plans from estimates, and define tasks, schedules, and necessary personnel. -Examine proposals, blueprints, and specifications to determine the kind and time period of work necessary for a project.

What You Bring

-Positive customer service skills -High School minimum; Degree in related field preferred; Experience overall - two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination. -Must be able to pass background screen -Experience working in ACCUBID preferred -Proficient in take-off estimator planning -Ability to multitask while staying organized -Must work at an intermediate level of Microsoft Word and Excel -Strong verbal and written communication skills
