Tasks
-Helping grow our service and sector-focussed teams. -Actively engaging within a project delivery environment. -Applying the concepts of quality assurance and environmental management. -Participating in relevant internal/external training initiatives. -Reporting into the Cost Management Lead, you will be responsible for building long term, sustainable relationships with both members of our own organisation, and wider Client base. -Identify opportunities for growth, linked to the Complex Infrastructure business strategy. -Support our Cost Management capability including development and use of Power-BI, PRISM, Oracle, Ecosys, SAP and other Cost Management related software. -Supporting with technical advice to different stakeholders. -Deliver an exceptional cost management service for multiple stakeholders. -Supporting the client relationship and service delivery. -Support with the Cost Management business development activity. -Support key accounts to maximise our impact. -Deliver excellent client service on our commissions. -Contribute to a positive team ethos and engage with opportunities for the team’s development. -Support with delivering the strategy for the Cost Management Service including identifying continuous development. -Support teams on project / technical delivery. -Mentor and develop Assistant Cost Managers and Cost Managers within AtkinsRéalis. -Actively broaden your experience and expertise in line with the core competencies. -Having responsibility in supporting the delivery of portfolios and projects. -Engage our community of practice and support technical excellence, service innovation and development of our benchmarking capabilities. -Ensure appropriate engagement with the wider AtkinsRéalis business, as determined by the strategy.

What You Bring
-Awareness of the challenges and opportunities in the industry. -Experience working for or on behalf of local or national Complex Infrastructure clients. -An understanding of industry benchmarks / best practices, Cost and Work Breakdown Structures, and methods of measurements (e.g. RMM, NRM etc). -Experience working in a consultancy environment, delivering exceptional projects. -Have a developing knowledge of legal and technical matters relevant to the work you do, and the law of the region or country in which you practice. -Be open to travelling to roles across other regions should a strategic opportunity arise. -Knowledge and practical experience of using VBA is desirable but not essential. -Technical experience in Cost Management services across complex infrastructure. -Engagement and understanding of internal business processes. -Commercial, quantity surveying, and/or finance skills, with working knowledge of the construction industry, and an understanding of Standard Forms of Contract (NEC/FIDIC/IChemE). -Awareness of performance measurement of projects using Earned Value Management (EVM) and similar techniques. -Collaborative behaviours to interface with multi-disciplinary teams. -An aptitude to apply innovation, technical excellence, and exceptional service delivery. -Knowledge and awareness of cost analysis techniques. -Competence in project commercial accountability. -Experience of monitoring, analysing, and controlling cost performance against set targets. -Degree qualified in a construction or finance related field.
