Tasks

-Report functionally to the Project Engineer/Manager and administratively to the Civil/Structural Engineering Design Manager. -Review, check, and approve design deliverables while ensuring accuracy, quality, and code compliance. -Provide technical support during construction, installation, and project execution. -Mentor and guide engineers and designers, fostering collaboration and professional growth. -Lead the structural design of steel structures, pipe racks, equipment supports, and tall framed structures. -Coordinate with other disciplines, project teams across offices, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery. -Act as the lead structural engineer on assigned projects, setting design requirements and providing direction. -Develop and review detailed structural designs in compliance with AISC, ASTM, and industry standards.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated ability to mentor and direct designers and engineers. -Familiarity with Tekla, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office tools. -Proven ability to lead midsize projects and multidisciplinary teams. -Creative problemsolving skills with sound engineering judgment. -Advanced knowledge of structural codes and standards including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, and PIP. -Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues. -Strong ability to interpret and develop civil/structural drawings and specifications. -Proficiency in structural analysis/design software (STAAD Pro, RISA 3D).
