Tasks
-Complete all assigned tasks on time, within budget, and in accordance with the project scope. -Demonstrate commitment to team performance and actively participate in meetings. -Consult and coordinate with other practices and sub-consultants as required. -Work with a team of drafters and designers under the supervision of a project manager to support the practice. -Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring projects meet ISO compliance requirements. -Attend bi-weekly or more frequent meetings with project teams to discuss progress and address any issues. -Potential applicant will be responsible for meeting daily/weekly deadlines due to customer commitments. -Design and draft construction drawings using Microstation (or other required software), ensuring they meet the required standards for approval by federal, state, and local agencies. -Review and interpret design manuals, technical documents, and local jurisdiction details. -The duties of this position will be to work directly with external clients and/or internal utility designers regarding proposed telecommunications design within the right-of-way. -Read and interpret technical documents, design manuals, and local jurisdiction details to effectively perform job duties. -Collect necessary field data, including measurements, sketches, notes, and photographs, to support project needs. -Design and draft construction drawings using standard engineering principles for approval by federal, state, and local agencies. -Size and specify design requirements accurately. -Compare field data to base plans to ensure accuracy and consistency. -Prepares thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations and sketches with some guidance. -Size and specify design requirements, ensuring all design aspects meet project and regulatory standards.

What You Bring
-The ability to take direction and instructions is critical to this position. -Auto CADD/ MicroStation -Well-rounded knowledge of copper cable, fiber-optic cable, conduit, manhole & handhole design, and aerial is preferred. -Able to review projects with customer(s) and answer design questions. -Potential candidates must have a minimum of four years OSP design experience in ICGS / IDDS with aerial and underground telecommunication utilities. Experience with AutoCAD and/or Microstation preferred. -Applicant must also be able to manage the workload for internal and/or external clients with minimal assistance -High School Diploma/GED -Applicants must be dependable, able to schedule daily/weekly tasks, and coordinate work to be completed on projects within the time allotted by the customer(s) -Candidates must also have experience working on/with civil design specific to utility relocation, including proposing the relocation of aerial, buried, underground cable design and path creation. -Must be able to interface in clients work management system and other design programs. -Program/ Software knowledge a plus -Strong knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD. -Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
