Tasks

Working closely with the Bid team to support submission quality and bid strategy Ensuring compliance with relevant procurement legislation Supporting early contractor involvement (ECI) projects with cost planning and pricing advice Using estimating software packages to develop accurate cost models and proposals Preparing detailed, accurate and competitive pricing for major civil engineering tenders Liaising with clients, supply chain and internal stakeholders to ensure clarity and competitiveness Identifying risks, opportunities and value engineering options during tender stages Reviewing design information, methodologies and assumptions with planning and design teams

What You Bring

Awareness of NEC and other standard forms of contract Understanding of relevant procurement routes and legislation Well-established international contractor with strong forward workload Senior Estimator – Civil Engineering Proficiency with estimating software and strong analytical skills Strong civil engineering background working for a main contractor Exposure to major UK and international infrastructure projects Knowledge of a wide range of construction methods and techniques Proven experience preparing tender pricing for complex infrastructure projects Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills This is a great opportunity for an experienced Estimator from a civil engineering background who wants to be part of a high-performing main contractor with a strong project pipeline and long-term career progression.
