Previous exposure to electric sector planning and/or energy resource procurement, generation planning, environmental compliance, or related topics
Maintains familiarity with the progress and problems in assigned technical areas and support identification of gaps.
Previous experience with capacity expansion, production cost simulation, or other electric system planning modeling approaches
An advanced degree in engineering, science, economics, energy resources, sustainability, computer science, or a related technical discipline
Ability to support travel (10-15%) for conferences, meetings, and member visits.
Strong research, writing, and oral communication skills
Significant customer interface component with ability to lead research programs.
Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple responsibilities, while collaborating with staff located across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Demonstrated experience scoping new research and leading proposal writing and related development tasks.
Experience conducting quantitative analyses to support energy market, policy, and/or technology research projects
