The Role

Tasks

-Communicate and present details to executive management, permitting agencies, stakeholders, owners; keeping stakeholders informed of the status of the project through regular meetings/reporting -Support the selection of key subcontractors and trade partners for the project. -Provide guidance to estimators and engineers in the development phase of a collaborative contract model. Own the project schedule/scope and budget for the project as it advances into construction. -Participate in task force meetings with the designers and engineers and bring constructability to the project solution. -Develop the logic behind the project schedule (sequencing works/work breakdown structure) -Analyze drawings and specifications to evaluate risks and opportunities and engage with engineers to ensure design process is on schedule. Interface project controls/finance to ensure project is staying on time, within budget and risk is minimized. -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Review and assist with proposals with the BD team, and work with the estimating team for various components of the work to evaluate the best value for money/options. -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products (e.g. Excel, Work, Outlook, PowerPoint) -Ability to lead estimates and multiple matrixed teams of engineers, project controls/schedulers assigned to your project. -Demonstrate excellent collaborative behaviors in a multi-stakeholder environment and foster a culture of innovation. -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. -Regular, reliable attendance -Able to demonstrate strong leadership ability, agility to work at all levels and emotional resilience. -Ability to generate conceptual estimates for the Advance Technology Facilities Construction market -Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time with strong focus on quality, safety and innovation. -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Undergraduate or graduate degree in construction management, construction engineering, or other engineering/technical disciplines and at least 8 years of Project Management experience for engineering/construction projects. If no degree, at least 12 years of PM experience on engineering/construction projects. -Strong attention to detail; strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills. Demonstrated success as a PM delivering projects on time and within budget, while minimizing risk.
