The Role
Overview
On-site IT tech supporting hardware, software, servers and help desk for MI offices.

Tasks
-Break/fix for computers, peripherals, and other hardware. -Travel to other DLZ offices for projects, coverage, office remodels, expansions, or new office setups. -Contribute to Knowledge Base articles and training programs to improve overall support efficiency and end-user production. -Serve as the local IT representative for assigned regional offices, taking ownership of the computing environment and user support. -Maintain a working knowledge of the organization's Printing & Plotting Systems and coordinate with support vendors to ensure high production levels and rapid problem resolution. -Manage and serve as the primary contact for Help Desk tickets, resolving remote technical issues efficiently. -Provide a full range of on-site support, including: -Coordinate and escalate complex, hands-on, or high-priority tickets to other IT staff as needed. -Proactively collaborate with office staff and leadership to understand and address local technology needs. -Maintaining regular office hours and open communication at supported locations. -Manage the hardware depot, ensuring adequate on-hand materials for quick break/fix events. -Perform essential administrative tasks, including ordering hardware and software, coordinating vendor support, and user account administration. -Assist with cybersecurity support (e.g., user education, initial triage) and patch management.

What You Bring
-Proven strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with end-users, vendors, and colleagues. -Ability to transport and lift equipment up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as lifting equipment above your head (e.g., installing a rack-mount server or network switch). -Must have reliable transportation and the ability to frequently travel to regional offices. -Demonstrated ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks, and work independently. -New employee setup (hardware, accounts, desk configuration). -Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, OR equivalent relevant professional experience. -Willingness to work extended hours and travel between offices as required by projects or critical support needs. -Desired Skills/ Experience - Workstation and Server administration, Cisco/SilverPeak Networking experience, CrowdStrike/Zscaler Security software, Scripting skills - PowerShell/Python Scripting.
