  • Actively engage with the Skanska Graduate Programme for professional development
  • Implement and monitor company health, safety and wellbeing policies on projects and ensure statutory requirements are met.
  • Help prepare and review the Project Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan and carry out site inspections and audits as required.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, coordinate close-outs and prepare performance reports.
  • Assist with Health and Safety training and inductions.
  • Provide operational advice to managers on preventing accidents and ill health, and support preparation of risk assessments and method statements.

  • Able to communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences
  • Studying towards or having completed a degree in Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Health or similar
  • Willingness to work towards professional qualifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH
  • This role requires visits to sites across the UK. As such, we would expect you to have a driving licence or work towards obtaining one within your first year of working with us.
