Actively engage with the Skanska Graduate Programme for professional development
Implement and monitor company health, safety and wellbeing policies on projects and ensure statutory requirements are met.
Help prepare and review the Project Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan and carry out site inspections and audits as required.
Investigate incidents and near misses, coordinate close-outs and prepare performance reports.
Assist with Health and Safety training and inductions.
Provide operational advice to managers on preventing accidents and ill health, and support preparation of risk assessments and method statements.

Able to communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences
Studying towards or having completed a degree in Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Health or similar
Willingness to work towards professional qualifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH
This role requires visits to sites across the UK. As such, we would expect you to have a driving licence or work towards obtaining one within your first year of working with us.
