Tasks

-Review and provide feedback on system specifications, development, test, and network documents. -Deploy, monitor, and maintain network gear, including switches, servers, and firewalls, and troubleshoot network-related problems. -Create configurations to support tests and prototypes of developing systems. -Serve as a technical liaison to supported military units and elements. -Set up and maintain DNS/Exchange/Active Directory. -Maintain virtual environments. -Provide on-site technical support for the operation of podded communication systems. -Conduct systems and sub-systems testing. -Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans and procedures. -Develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documentation. -Install and configure Windows/Linux servers. -Capture and deploy system images.

What You Bring

-Tactical Data Link familiarity (e.g., CDL, TTNT, L-16, SADL, etc.). -Experience in live field testing and military communication systems is highly desired. -Working knowledge of routing, switching, protocols, VLANs, LAN, WAN, etc. -Experience in automation, scripting, or other development in Python or JavaScript. -4+ years of experience in testing, networking, or other IT-related fields. -Working knowledge of network security devices (e.g., firewalls, NGFW, IPS, IDS). -High-level understanding of automation and implementation. -Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) computer and radio systems. -US Citizenship required with a minimum of an active Interim Secret clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance. -Familiarity with event management systems (e.g., ISE, Splunk, SolarWinds). -Knowledge of Containerized Virtual Environments is highly desired. -High proficiency in Linux and Windows.
